Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Design and implement scalable and robust data architectures to support our healthcare analytics and machine learning initiatives. \xc2\xb7 Designing and implementing scalable and efficient data storage and processing systems. \xc2\xb7 Collecting data from various sources and integrating it into a unified data platform. \xc2\xb7 Cleaning, transforming, and normalizing data to ensure its quality and usability for analysis and machine learning. \xc2\xb7 Building and maintaining data pipelines that automate data flow and processing. \xc2\xb7 Setting up and managing the infrastructure required for data storage, processing, and analysis, including databases, data warehouses, and big data platforms. \xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain efficient data ingestion, integration, and transformation processes to ensure data quality and consistency. \xc2\xb7 Build and optimize data pipelines that collect, process, and deliver data from various healthcare sources, including EHRs, IoT devices, and third-party APIs. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with Data Scientists and Business Analysts to understand data requirements and provide them with clean, reliable, and timely data for analysis and modeling. \xc2\xb7 Implement data security and privacy measures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR. \xc2\xb7 Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring high availability and performance of our data infrastructure. \xc2\xb7 Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. \xc2\xb7 Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data engineering and healthcare data management. \xc2\xb7 Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with at least 3 years in the healthcare industry. \xc2\xb7 Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data engineering tasks. \xc2\xb7 Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehousing technologies, and big data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka. \xc2\xb7 Experience with healthcare data standards and formats, such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques, such as ETL processes and APIs. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and processing. \xc2\xb7 Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and data governance principles. \xc2\xb7 Experience with machine learning workflows and model deployment is a plus. \xc2\xb7 Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
