Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Senior Credit Control Executive to join our finance team. The Senior Credit Control Executive will be responsible for managing and ensuring the creditworthiness of our customers, optimizing cash flow, and minimizing bad debt risks. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a firm understanding of credit control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough credit assessments of new and existing customers to determine credit limits and terms.
• Manage and successfully run a team of 4-5 assistants and executives.
• Monitor customer accounts for late payments, overdue amounts, and other irregularities.
• Contact customers to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve billing disputes or discrepancies.
• Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment statuses.
• Prepare and analyze aging reports and other credit-related metrics for management review.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address customer credit issues promptly.
• Implement and enforce credit control policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate credit risk.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in credit management.
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of accounts receivable and credit collections.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Chartered accountants in local market experience preferred.
• Candidates with FMCG experience will be given priority.
• Proven experience of 5 - 8 years as a Credit Controller, Credit Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of credit control principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess credit risk.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial ERP software and systems for credit management.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in maintaining records and reports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Credit Management (e.g., CICM) is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
