Reporting directly to the General Counsel,you will handle all corporate, compliance, and regulatory matters, including contract negotiation and management; advising on IP-related matters; assisting in governance activities and statutory filings specific to the Indian jurisdiction; and ensuring compliance with Indian laws related to labor, data protection, and other relevant regulations. • Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice on matters related to the MENA region, including compliance, regulatory issues, and local business practices.
• Contract Negotiation and Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts with a focus on software licenses, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Intellectual Property: Advise on intellectual property issues, including patent, copyright, and trademark matters.
• Corporate Governance: Assist in governance activities and corporate filings in the MENA region.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage legal risks across various functional areas and geographies, particularly in the MENA region.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company is compliant with local laws and regulations in the MENA region, including data protection, consumer rights, and employment laws.
• Team Collaboration: Provide guidance to legal staff on matters related to the MENA region and oversee external counsel relationships in the region.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate cross-functionally with different departments to address their legal needs and concerns.

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to adapt to the evolving legal landscape and business requirements
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Law degree from an accredited institution
• 7-9 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on the MENA region
