:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Cost Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to perform pre and post contracts tasks and estimating activities .This role will be located in Abu Dhabi.What You\'ll Be Doing:Take care of the financial and contractual aspects of the projects.Participate, record and prepare the minutes of the progress meetings.Provide support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of the work in the projects.Finalize the monthly payment certificates.Make sure that all cost and quantity records are streamlined and kept in order.Advise and hands on with measurement procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities.Evaluate the unit rates for new work items.Establish the way of recording the details and monitor the day works recording and process;Lead in the preparation of variation orders.Lead in the evaluation of claims.Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues.Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements.Prepare financial statements for monthly report.Audit payments.Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of valuations.Check and record measurements of completed work.Monitor contracts final cost estimates.Maintain expenditure records.Coordinate and monitor activities of his team.Prepare Final Account with all supporting documentation.What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).Mandatory 10+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying.Excellent written contractual correspondence and verbal communication skills.Must have a clear understanding of, and ability to work with, construction contract commercial documents, engineering drawings and specifications, and be qualified to be a QS team leader.Working knowledge of software typically associated with quantity surveying and familiarity with typical project controls software.What Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:Qualified and chartered by a recognized international body such as Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) will be an added advantage.10+ years of related work experience in road & infrastructure projects is preferred.Ability to perform difficult estimating activities typical to the engineering and construction industry is required.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
