As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for managing pre-contract procurement activities, providing expert cost management advice, and supporting our clients throughout the entire pre-construction phase. Your role will involve ensuring that procurement strategies align with the project objectives, budgets, and timelines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the pre-contract procurement process, including the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
• Provide expert advice on procurement strategies, cost planning, and risk management to clients and project teams.
• Analyze and evaluate cost data, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions across various construction and engineering projects.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring effective communication and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the development and implementation of BIM processes and tools to enhance cost management and procurement efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (QS) or a related field.
• Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in similar roles, with a strong track record in pre-contract procurement.
• Local experience in the UAE construction market is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including various procurement routes and heavy engineering.
• Proficiency in cost management and estimation software; knowledge of CostX and BIM is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
