As a result, our people get to work on some of the most exciting projects in the world.As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for managing pre-contract procurement activities, providing expert cost management advice, and supporting our clients throughout the entire pre-construction phase. Your role will involve ensuring that procurement strategies align with the project objectives, budgets, and timelines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the pre-contract procurement process, including the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Provide expert advice on procurement strategies, cost planning, and risk management to clients and project teams.
Analyze and evaluate cost data, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions across various construction and engineering projects.
Manage client relationships, ensuring effective communication and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Support the development and implementation of BIM processes and tools to enhance cost management and procurement efficiency.
Qualifications
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (QS) or a related field.
Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
Minimum of 7 years of experience in similar roles, with a strong track record in pre-contract procurement.
Local experience in the UAE construction market is strongly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including various procurement routes and heavy engineering.
Proficiency in cost management and estimation software; knowledge of CostX and BIM is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
