We are hiirng for a confidential entity in Abu Dhabi Role: Senior Contracts Specialist Location: Abu Dhabi Contract Duration: 6 months ( with possible extension) The Senior Contracts Specialist is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end contract management process, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. This role involves negotiating, drafting, and managing a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and procurement contracts. Qualification and skills: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Bachelor\'s degree in science, engineering, or management.
Strong understanding of contractual approaches, contractual terminology, and negotiation techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex terms clearly and effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate contractual risks.
Industry Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in tendering, bidding, and contracts. Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate should possess prior expertise in reviewing/analyzing the scope of requirements, creating a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and pricing schedule, drafting tender documents, issuing expressions of interest (EOI), requesting proposals or tenders (RFP/RFT), conducting technical and commercial evaluations, negotiating contracts, making award recommendations, preparing agreement documents, managing post-contract administration, and being well-versed in terms and conditions. Additionally, below is a brief overview of the key responsibilities.
Led contract negotiations with vendors, clients, and partners to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Drafting and reviewing contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Managing the full contract lifecycle, including renewal, amendment, and termination processes.
Collaborating cross-functionally with legal, finance, and operational teams to resolve any contract-related issues or disputes.
Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Developing and maintaining robust contract management policies, procedures, and best practices.
Providing guidance, and mentorship to other relevant stakeholders.
