Senior Consultant - Internal Audit

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and enhancing the organization's risk management, control, and governance processes. This will involve collaborating with various departments to evaluate internal controls, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and manage comprehensive internal audits for clients to evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of internal controls and procedures.
Identify key areas of risk within client organizations and propose appropriate controls to mitigate these risks.
Prepare detailed working papers that document audit procedures, findings, and conclusions.
Review the work of junior staff to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to audit standards.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to client senior management, including recommendations for improvement.
Work closely with clients, external auditors, and other stakeholders to coordinate audit activities and ensure seamless execution.
Stay updated with industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in auditing to continuously improve audit methodologies and standards.

Qualification:

Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification Internal Audit experience.
Must have obtained professional certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA)/Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)/ Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
Should have knowledge of risk-based internal audit and a thorough understanding of the Governance, Risk, and Control (GRC) mechanism.
