Move forward, move fast. An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join Informa Connect's Conference Production Team as a Senior Conference Producer in the HR Sector. The Senior Conference Producer will be responsible for both validating and developing new launch events projects for the division, as well as driving growth within the teams existing portfolio of physical and virtual events. The role offers a great opportunity to help develop the agriculture portfolio of events across Europe and the Middle East. Ideal candidates will have already excelled as Producers and have demonstrated experience of managing challenging launch products.You will be responsible for developing and creating an engaged community by producing powerful content for physical and digital initiatives such as webinars, virtual events and newsletters as well as the main conferences.
  • In-charge of physical and digital content creation.
  • Speaker negotiation related to virtual and physical events, including multi-year deals.
  • Hands on agenda writing for digital and physical products.
  • Developing a digital agenda for the whole year including webinars, newsletters, content.
  • Capable to monetize hybrid content during the event and throughout the year.
  • Sponsorship direction and sales briefings to the wider team to ensure they understand the objectives and USPs when pitching to clients to secure deals.
  • Government liaison and technical aspects across all relevant projects.
  • Develop year-round strategies that will increase the commerciality of the conferences and content that is produced.
KPIs
  • Delegate attendance and revenue.
  • Sponsorship revenue and digital sponsorship generation.
  • Timely delivery and quality of conference programmes.
  • Strategy development and delivery.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Project management/commerciality.
  • Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities.
  • Review performance data that includes financial, sales, and activity reports and spreadsheets, to monitor and measure portfolio productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness.
  • Review and approve creative briefs, conference collateral and briefs.
  • Mentor and provide any necessary training to the project team(s).
Reporting and communication
  • Maintain transparent communication.
  • Effectively communicate organisation information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and regular interpersonal communication.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to ensure quality of attendees to the conferences by reviewing data selection and ensuring quality data build for new conferences.
  • Develop new conference ideas, formats and content through brainstorming sessions and feedback from the HR community.
  • Identify key opinion leaders/institutions and companies within each show who can participate in the advisory board.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (Essential).
  • Demonstrate good teamwork with co-workers/peers.
  • Be flexible when on occasions asked to perform tasks outside of the overall remit.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Significant experience in conference production.
  • Significant experience in topic validation and successful commercial launches.
  • Speaks and writes clear and fluent English to both individuals and groups.
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of MS Office Programs.
  • Research orientated.
  • Copywriting/marketing skills.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
