Administer the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, overseeing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, including provisioning, deployment, backups, patching, and upgrades, leveraging automation for efficiency.
Manage the Office 365 ecosystem, including Microsoft Licensing, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive, employing automation tools where possible.
Oversee communication and collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom, and Webex, integrating automation for streamlined operations.
Administer Active Directory (both on-prem and Azure), ensuring connectivity, managing group policies, and server maintenance with an emphasis on automating routine tasks.
Collaborate with Senior Systems Engineers, offering administrative support and automating routine tasks for DNS, DHCP, SharePoint, file servers, Azure, Office365, video conferencing, and backups.
Manage and deploy Intune MDM & MAM policies, utilizing automation for policy application and updates.
Coordinate with PBX system vendors to maintain telephony services, including managing SIP trunks with automation tools for efficiency.
Provide IT support to users, handling escalated support requests and leveraging automation in the IT ticketing system for tracking and resolution per SLAs.
Act as an escalation point for user support engineers, introducing automation for common issues.
Install and configure server applications, incorporating automation scripts for efficient deployment.
Work with vendors to identify and implement technologies that enhance IT services, focusing on automation solutions.
Implement innovative solutions and technologies, prioritizing automation to enhance user experience and streamline operations.
Ensure security measures are automated where possible, maintaining up-to-date software and hardware, and addressing vulnerabilities efficiently.
Proactively identify and address potential issues with automation tools, enhancing user satisfaction and minimizing downtime.
Report frequently/daily to Manager, IT Infrastructure, Director, IT, and User Support Engineers; occasional interaction with Directors, Executive Management, and end users.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5-7 years of relevant experience in IT, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on cloud technologies and infrastructure management.
Proven experience with automation, security, and DevOps practices.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Office 365, and Backups.
Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Advanced degrees (e.g., Master's, certifications) in cloud computing platforms (Azure) are highly desirable.
Driving license and own car are an advantage.
