One Works is looking for a talented Senior Civil Engineer (Hydraulic) to join our team in Dubai to support Company's project in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


Location: Dubai, UAE (with a minimum, initial 3-month full-time secondment in Riyadh, KSA, with possible extension)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Be able to work independently and liaise with contractor's technical team at the site technical office.
• Modify existing design documents and revise details accordingly to close arising issues / required modifications. This includes analysis, calculations and revision of technical documents.
• Perform complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
• Extract engineering information from CAD drawings. Prepare engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
• Complete a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
• Frequently interface with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.
• Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
• Review supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.
• Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
• May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• Minimum 10-15 years related work experience in Infrastructure Design and Civil (hydraulic) engineering;

• Proficiency with Civil 3D and GIS software, EPA-SWIMM or similar;

• Extensive and knowledgeable computer skills (AutoCAD).

• UAE/GCC experience is required

• Strong knowledge in hydraulic infrastructure design and modelling;

• Professional English knowledge in speaking, reading and writing;

• Ability to work in BIM environment is an advantage;

• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary design team.
