Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer - ADNOC Approved

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Duration: Full Time

Site Based: Habshan

Working Hours: 10 Hours Including Lunch Break

Working Days: 6 Days per week

Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Structural Engineering to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing and analysing structures to withstand blast effects, ensuring the safety and integrity of buildings and infrastructure.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering; Engineering degree preferred and Blast resistant building construction design highly desirable but not a must. Minimum 3 year of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on blast-resistant design projects Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles and blast-resistant design techniques Proficiency in finite element analysis software, AutoCAD or similar CAD software, and structural analysis tools Strong understanding of international building codes and standards related to blast protection Expertise in blast effects on structures, protective design, and risk assessment methodologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach Strong project management abilities and experience leading multidisciplinary teams Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical report writing and client interactions Ability to work efficiently and organize multiple projects simultaneously Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site assessments and client meetings Providing Civil/Structural Engineering support during the construction phase of projects. Coordinating with discipline leaders to ensure accuracy and quality of designs. Acting as a Lead Civil Engineer for site design, land development, reviewing soil investigations and recommending the most suitable foundation design. Overseeing Civil and Structural work carried out by consultants and contractors, reviewing tender documents, specifications, BOQs, drawings and design calculations.

Required Skills:

Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized/reputed University. Minimum 8 yrs. of experience as a Civil Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry (construction & source inspection) Fluency in English Previous experience working with ADNOC project. Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including use of MS Office Experience in EPC industry Organized, committed and hard worker Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with high attention to details An analytical thinker A results driven person combined with problem solving techniques Report writing and communication skills
