We\xe2\x80\x99re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.Primary Objectives / ResponsibilitiesTechnical Competency\xc2\xb7 Supports adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.\xc2\xb7 Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.\xc2\xb7 Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.\xc2\xb7 Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence.\xc2\xb7 Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.\xc2\xb7 Deliver Civil Structural discipline specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, the client\xe2\x80\x99s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements\xc2\xb7 Apply recognised offshore / onshore engineering practices applicable to Civil Structural design engineering.\xc2\xb7 Checking of drawings / models and maintaining quality of deliverablesProject Execution\xc2\xb7 Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success.\xc2\xb7 Supports management of project change and progressing for the discipline and works with the Project Management Team to take corrective actions regarding any issues, scope changes, progressing, or other events that could affect project completion and/or profitability.\xc2\xb7 Initiate, design and drafting assignments on projects requirements on time and within budget.\xc2\xb7 Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and the client\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.\xc2\xb7 Competent with the project estimating process and can input design deliverables into estimating moduleProject Deliverables\xc2\xb7 Gathers data from multiple sources and prepares analyses, calculations, etc.\xc2\xb7 Assists with recommendations and helps create final documentation.\xc2\xb7 Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations to support official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc.\xc2\xb7 Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues internal authorization.\xc2\xb7 Ensuring technical integrity of the Civil Structural deliverables through the implementation of checking and design review activities.\xc2\xb7 Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as:a) ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes;b) if required, participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions;c) prepare engineering drawings and documentation;d) ensure all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with Worley checking procedures;
