Job Title: Senior Certified Automotive Electrician / Programmer

Salary Range: AED 3,000 - AED 6,000, based on experience and qualifications

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and Senior Certified Automotive Electrician / Programmer to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience and strong knowledge of electrical systems in modern vehicles and be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining these systems to ensure safe and optimal vehicle performance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical issues in various types of vehicles, specializing in Nissan and SUV vehicles (Japanese and German manufacturers).
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot vehicle programming and software systems.
• Work with ECU (Electronic Control Unit) programming and calibration.
• Perform diagnostics and resolve programming-related issues.
• Perform diagnostics using specialized tools and interpret results to identify issues with electrical wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, and other related components.
• Install, repair, and maintain electronic systems such as anti-theft alarms, GPS systems, entertainment systems, and lighting systems.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete complex repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Replace and test faulty components such as wiring harnesses, relays, and sensors.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in automotive electrical systems and diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety protocols.
• Document repairs and maintenance performed for each vehicle in detailed service reports.

Requirements:

• Certification as an Auto Electrician (ASE or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in automotive programming.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software (e.g., OBD-II, CAN bus).
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and firmware.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
• Familiarity with modern vehicle diagnostic systems and equipment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work in tight spaces.
• Strong communication skills to effectively discuss issues and repairs with team members and customers.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills:

• Specializing in Nissan and SUV vehicles (Japanese and German manufacturers).
• Experience with hybrid or electric vehicle systems.
• Familiarity with CAN bus, OBD-II systems and vehicle networking.
• Additional certifications or training related to automotive electrical systems.
