The Senior Buyer for Fashion Accessories will play a crucial role in driving the purchasing strategy for our accessories line. This position involves selecting and sourcing high-quality products, negotiating with suppliers, and analyzing market trends to ensure our offerings align with customer demands and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Selection: Identify and select fashion accessories that align with current trends and customer preferences.
• Supplier Negotiation: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to optimize cost and quality.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive products, and customer insights.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to make informed buying decisions and ensure product availability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to align product offerings with brand strategy and promotional initiatives.
• Reporting: Analyze sales data and prepare reports to inform future buying decisions and strategies.
• Budget Management: Manage and adhere to purchasing budgets while maximizing profitability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or a similar role in the fashion industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build supplier relationships.
