Leading Architectural & Engineering Consultants based in UAE seeking to hire a well experienced " Senior BIM Modeler " on an urgent basis with immediate start.

Position Overview: As a Senior BIM Modeler, you will play a pivotal role in the creation, coordination, and management of Building Information Models (BIM) for design of building projects. You will be responsible for generating accurate and detailed 3D models, collaborating with various stakeholders, and contributing to the overall success of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Advanced Modeling:

Create and develop complex 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit) based on architectural, structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and other project-related information.

Implement advanced modeling techniques to accurately represent intricate building components, systems, and design elements.

2. Collaborative Coordination:

Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, designers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and construction information within the BIM environment.

Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes, conflicts, and discrepancies within the BIM model, contributing to clash detection and resolution processes.

3. Parametric Families and Templates:

Develop and manage custom parametric families and templates to enhance modeling efficiency and consistency across projects.

Create and modify parametric components to meet specific project requirements and industry standards.

4. Detailing and Documentation:

Generate comprehensive 2D drawings and 3D views from the BIM model, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and standards.

Produce construction documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and schedules, using BIM software tools.

5. Model Maintenance and Updates:

Regularly review and update the BIM models to reflect design changes, scope adjustments, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Maintain an organized and well-structured model hierarchy, following best practices for file management.

6. Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough quality checks on the BIM models and generated documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.

Verify that the BIM models align with project requirements, specifications, and guidelines.

7. Technical Expertise:

Stay up to date with the latest BIM software developments, industry trends, and advancements in technology related to Building Information Modeling.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BIM modelers, sharing best practices and assisting in their professional development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit
• Strong understanding of architectural and construction terminology, concepts, and practices.
• In-depth knowledge of parametric modeling, BIM coordination, clash detection, and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to facilitate collaboration among various project team members.
• Problem-solving aptitude to identify and resolve modeling and coordination challenges.
• Experience in scripting and customization within BIM software is a plus.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are advantageous.
