Stantec is currently looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic site team and support on a construction supervision project.
Qualifications And Technical Competencies o Experience in working with both consultants/contractors is preferable. o Technically capable of producing and managing LOD 300, 400 & 500 BIM models. o Will ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM modelling and the collaboration and coordination with other disciplines for design-changes and model challenges. o Monitor and validate As-Built model tagging with all related project documents e.g. The H&S file(s) and O&M manual(s) etc. o Manage federated model setups for interdisciplinary review and clash resolution. o Perform clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution using advanced BIM software and tools. o Implement BIM execution plans, workflows, protocols, and quality control measures for each project in line with the stakeholders BIR. o Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders to align BIM deliverables with project requirements and expectations. o Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure model accuracy. o Prepare own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings. o Support project Manager in day-to-day BIM implementation activities. o Support contractor BIM team with planning and construction activities with proposed 4D sequencing model(s) review and progress reporting. o Provide progress and performance updates to project manager on fortnightly and monthly basis. o Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities. o Must have solid understanding CDE platforms like BIM 360/ProjectWise, ACC. o Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information Model (AIM) with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) requirements for eg. Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBIE) and/or client specific requirements. o Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol. o Collaborate and coordinate with the Project manager design-changes and model challenges. o Work closely with the Project Manager to support the in-house architectural, general engineering, and civil design discipline teams with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training o Understanding of Dynamo BIM is necessary. o Technically capable of handling point cloud data.
Qualifications Experience (essential) o A degree, ideally in Architecture, Structure, Mechanical or equivalent o A minimum of 10 years BIM experience o Proven building project experience. o Manage / Update BIM Project Documents. o 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification. o 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks and experience with Primavera P6 preferred. o Experience working in a Design Consultancy and / or Contractor. o Extensive experience in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD, Civil 3D o Advance understanding of creating Revit families. o Working knowledge of Information Standards ISO 19650 (Parts 1 & 2 at a minimum), PAS 1192, BS1192, MIDP and TIDP creation and MIDP Automation. o Knowledge of CDE platforms (BIM 360, ProjectWise, Aconex). o Experience conducting clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage. o Experience creating/tailoring project setups to suit the client. o Candidate must have worked on large scale projects. o Possess the ability to Develop Analytical Reports and Presentations. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
