Lead and coordinate the implementation of BIM protocols, standards, and workflows across all phases of the project lifecycle (design, construction, and operation).
Collaborate with the project team to ensure the effective exchange and integration of BIM data among different disciplines and software platforms.
Maintain and manage the projects BIM execution plan (BEP) to ensure alignment with project goals and client requirements.
Oversee the creation and management of 3D BIM models for multidisciplinary teams, ensuring all models are accurate and meet the project requirements.
Conduct regular clash detection sessions, resolving any inter-disciplinary conflicts between architectural, structural, and MEP models.
Lead and mentor junior BIM coordinators and modelers, providing guidance on best practices, technical expertise, and troubleshooting.
Foster collaboration within the BIM team and across other departments to ensure a unified approach to project delivery.
Ensure that BIM models and data are properly documented, compliant with company standards, and quality-controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage the naming conventions, file management, and version control of all BIM deliverables.
Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM software and technologies to ensure the team is using the most efficient tools for project delivery.
Evaluate and recommend new software solutions and techniques to improve workflow efficiency.
Coordinate with external consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth data exchange and integration.
Support the client in reviewing BIM deliverables and coordinating project updates.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination or related roles within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
Strong knowledge of BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and others.
Advanced proficiency in BIM software tools and techniques for model creation, clash detection, and data management.
In-depth understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
Experience with project management tools such as Procore, BIM 360, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of the design and construction processes, as well as the ability to translate that knowledge into efficient BIM workflows.
