Position-Senior BIM Architect



We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Architect with knowledge in coordination and handling models at Level of Development (LOD) 500 for contractor projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in coordinating and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, ensuring accurate and detailed models for construction-BIM Execution Plan .

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the creation, management, and review of BIM models, ensuring they meet LOD 500 standards.
• Lead the coordination of architectural and structural BIM models, ensuring alignment between different disciplines (Architecture, Structure, MEP).
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure that the BIM models align with construction requirements and specifications.
• Manage model updates, revisions, and quality control for accuracy and completeness.
• Facilitate the integration of models across disciplines, ensuring coordination between architectural, structural, MEP, and other design elements.
• Oversee the ongoing revision of models, ensuring updates reflect the latest design changes and contractor requirements.
• Maintain clear records of model revisions, issues, and resolution processes for accountability and reference.
• Lead clash detection and resolution efforts, providing solutions to conflicts across disciplines to ensure smooth integration of systems and components.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of BIM-related outputs and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in BIM management, with specific expertise in LOD 100- 500 for contractor projects.
• Strong proficiency in BIM software tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360) for model creation, editing, and coordination
• Excellent understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and technical requirements.
• Ability to manage and coordinate large-scale, complex projects with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications or a degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
