As a Senior Bartender at a 4-star hotel, you will lead a beverage service team in delivering exceptional service and crafting high-quality cocktails and beverages for our guests. We are seeking a talented and experienced individual with a passion for mixology, a keen eye for detail, and outstanding leadership skills. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the bar team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction.
Create and maintain an innovative and dynamic cocktail menu, featuring both classic favorites and unique, signature creations that reflect the hotel\'s style and ambiance.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of cocktails, specialty drinks, and other beverages, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to standardized recipes.
Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and spoilage.
Collaborate with the food and beverage manager and executive chef to develop beverage pairing recommendations for the restaurant menu, special events, and promotions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area, including cleaning equipment, bar tops, and storage areas, and ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, share knowledge about beverage offerings, and create memorable experiences that exceed their expectations.
Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and emerging techniques in mixology, and incorporate innovative ideas into beverage offerings and service standards.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction and problem resolution.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume bar or upscale hotel environment, with demonstrated proficiency in mixology and beverage service.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team, delegate tasks effectively, and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests, build rapport, and create memorable experiences.
Proficiency in POS systems and basic math skills for processing orders, handling payments, and reconciling cash drawers.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the business.
