Senior Backend Engineer (ruby On Rails)

Job Description

We are looking for a backend developer (Ruby on Rails) to join our customer team. The team is responsible for the tools our customers use in their daily work (as opposed to tools that we use internally in our operations). The main responsibilities of the position are:

- The Ruby on Rails backend is at the core of all our apps.

- You will lead technical development for critical areas of our product.

- Set high standards for our Ruby on Rails community of practice. Enforce clean and well-architected code, provide meaningful feedback through code reviews, and ensure good practices are followed.

- Work closely with designers, frontend, and app developers to deliver our roadmap in short iterations.

- Be responsible for deploying your code. We use Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CircleCI.

Requirements

? Very good knowledge of Ruby on Rails and relational databases with several years of experience developing digital products.

? Knowledge of Docker, CI Pipelines, and Kubernetes.

? A real passion for solving customer friction through simple and effective software.

? Very good knowledge of centralized identity providers including configuration and integration.

? Experience working with agile and continuous delivery.

? Experience building cloud-native software architectures.

? Experience with Open source ERPS like Odoo.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month

Education:

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:

* Backend Engineer(Ruby on Rails): 5 years (Preferred)
