Senior Automation Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and automation systems, particularly in marine applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Service and repair of electrical and automation equipment on vessels.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Expertise in field instruments, and automation systems.
• Performing retrofit tasks and system upgrades.
• Troubleshooting and resolving equipment failures.
• PLC programming and SCADA system experience.
• Coordinating with the team and reporting to the technical manager.
• Assisting in product training, solution design.
• Familiarity with Key Systems like Bow thruster, Main Engine, and Auxiliary Engine Control Panels:
• Capable of performing engine synchronization independently, ensuring smooth operation of the vessel's main engine and auxiliary engines.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.
• Strong experience in marine automation.
• UAE Driving License (preferred).
