Position: Senior Auditor / Sr. Accountant

Requirements:

Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.

Relevant accounting certifications are preferred.

Experience: 5-7 years of experience as an accountant or auditor in the UAE.

Nationality: Jordanian / Syrian

Skills Required:

Extensive knowledge of UAE tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Proficient in Accounting as per the compliance of FTA.

Skilled in using accounting software and tools, as well as MS Office applications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop audit objectives, plans, and scope by reviewing available information and conducting research.

Manage financial statements and all services related to VAT.

Help design, implement, and maintain internal audit procedures and risk assessment processes.

Prepare audit findings, write audit reports, and develop recommendations. Ensure compliance with all applicable plans, policies, and standards.

Stay current on industry trends and best accounting and audit practices.

Visit clients as per their requirements and travel as needed.

Plan, supervise, and perform reviews of financial statements and other financial data for clients, including due diligence, audits, and general financial consulting.

Complete external audit assignments across a diverse portfolio of clients.

Handle large audits independently and supervise a team of auditors.

Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and other related documents in compliance with UAE tax laws.

Assist clients in developing effective tax strategies and structures to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits.

Help clients establish and maintain proper accounting systems, controls, and procedures.

Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems within client organizations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs, and providing tailored solutions.

Lead audit teams, supervise, and mentor junior auditors.

Hands-on experience from audit planning to the conclusion stage or the ability to handle audits independently with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
