Senior Auditor

A Senior Auditor is a key role responsible for overseeing and conducting financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. They act as a bridge between junior auditors and management, providing leadership and guidance while performing complex audit procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute financial statement audits and operational audits.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify weaknesses.
• Develop and implement audit procedures to test internal controls and financial transactions.
• Analyze audit results and prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit reports.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing training and guidance.
• Manage audit engagements, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
• Stay up-to-date on accounting standards, auditing best practices, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent a plus).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Additional Skills (depending on the company):

• Experience with specific industries (e.g., healthcare, manufacturing)
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with internal controls frameworks (e.g., COSO)
• Strong project management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
