Based in Abu Dhabi, your role will be instrumental to drive new investments, overseeing the entire deal lifecycle from origination to execution and subsequently managing a specific portfolio of assets. What the job involves
- Drive the identification process for potential opportunities, sourcing and screening new investments from origination to execution
- Act as a day-to-day asset manager for portfolio assets, shaping and developing the strategy
- Build and manage relationships with current and prospective clients
- Oversee direct reports to ensure effective and efficient process management
- Mentoring and developing junior team members, whilst proactively identifying opportunities for both personal and team developments
- Experienced investment professional from a leading investment bank, special opportunities investment team, private equity / special opportunities team or asset management firm
- Proven track record leading end-to-end deal origination and execution across the capital structure in complex situations
- Deep industry knowledge across a variety of financial instruments
- Strong ability to manage, develop and mentor junior team members
- Demonstrate versatile communication skills and the ability to adapt them effectively to suit the specific needs and preferences of various audiences
