We are seeking a Senior Compliance Associate who is fluent in Arabic to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must possess SCA (Securities and Commodities Authority) and will report directly to the VP of Compliance. • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines set forth by regulatory authorities, particularly SCA.
• Collaborate with the Compliance team to develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Assist in drafting and updating compliance manuals, training materials, and other relevant documentation.
• Provide compliance guidance and support to internal stakeholders, including trading desks, portfolio managers, and senior management.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure the company\'s compliance framework remains up-to-date.
• Assist in regulatory filings and submissions as required.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and audits as necessary.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of compliance monitoring tools and systems.
• Act as a subject matter expert on compliance-related matters for the organization.

The Candidate

• CISI Certifications in Compliance is preferred (Not an absolute must) or Bachelor\'s degree in Law, Finance or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry, preferably in a multi-asset investment firm.
• Must possess good knowledge of SCA rules and regulations.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
• Strong understanding of UAE regulatory requirements and international compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
• Proven track record of managing complex compliance issues and driving compliance initiatives.
