Senior Assistant Manager, Financial Governance, Abu Dhabi, UAE About our client
This is an exciting opportunity to join the group finance function of a leading global investor, based in Abu Dhabi. You will have the opportunity to step into a flat structure that encourages both collaborative and independent work, working across the business planning, governance, and reporting of all financial activities within the investor. What the job involves
• Reviewing and assessing accounting and finance related policies and procedures
• Reviewing delegations of authority matrices (DoAs) and related system workflow approval setup
• Drafting process related documentation from scratch
• Performing periodic reviews
• Preparing and reviewing the design of compliance reports
• Designing and implementing performance dashboards to monitor KPIs
• Preparing and reviewing business requirement documents
• Performing user acceptance testing for changes to group finance systems
Who we are looking for
• Prior experience within an audit or process function
• Qualified with ACCA / CIMA / CA / CPA or equivalent
• CISA and/or CIA are desirable
• Bachelor's degree from a leading institution
• Ability to adapt to changing and new situations with little notice
• High attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
• Desire and ability to be based full-time in Abu Dhabi
