Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Architect Manager to join our team, based in Doha, Qatar.

This role is responsible for managing technically the Railway projects/tasks in the Client Architectural Department. Key tasks and inputs include studies; tenders; support O&M with technical expertise; develop scope & ER's & general expertise to support the functional business and future strategic plans of the Client.

We envisage success in this role to include; Generally act on behalf of Client to ensure that the Architectural Employers Requirements and approved design Concepts are implemented. Support the development & implementation of future phases/extensions and transportation projects as HSR connection with Saudia Arabia, GCC Railways network and Qatar Domestic lines. Participate in all phases of work related to the previous projects such as Design Concept preparation, studies, definition of scope, tender documents and evaluation, implementation, review and approvals of submitted designs and follow up construction till TOC. Support in the preparation of Design Concepts, technical studies and related presentations/ documents. Support and develop scope and tender documents. Support and develop ER's and Drawings as required for Railway Projects. Support in technical tender evaluations till the award of contractor/ sub-Contractors. Develop, comment and approve Requests relevant to Architecture submitted by the contractor such RFI, RFC etc. Review and comment the architectural and interior design drawings in the approved timeline. Review and coordinate approvals for the finishes and material with relevant team. Coordination and synthesis between the architectural, MEP, Landscape, systems and structural design. Mock up/ Workmanship installation review and approvals. Review and approve the technical details, specifications in line with ER and standards. Report on progress (presentations, trackers, etc..). Work closely with other Technical Departments to ensure holistic technical solutions are derived. Work with other Departments, as necessary, to support the business needs. Knowledge transfer. Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include minimum 15 years of experience, experience in Rail Projects and architectural railway stations design, experience in large scale buildings and complex projects, partnered with a Bachelor degree in Architecture.

Team worker & time management Competencies. Technical design. Design Management (time, quality, sustainability). Construction regulations and international standards.
