Summary: As a Senior Architect Design Manager, will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design process from conception to completion.

Your role involves leading a team of architects, interiors designers, structural, facade, and landscape designers, ensuring that projects meet client requirements, adhere to budgetary constraints, and comply with local regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to develop innovative design solutions that align with project goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership:

- Provide leadership and direction to the project team.

- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.

- Mentor and coach the project team members.

2. Project Management:

- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.

- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.

- Monitor project progress and address any issues or challenges that arise.

- Monitor and manage contracts of consultants & sub-consultants.

3. Client Engagement:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the design process.

- Conduct client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements, progress, and revisions.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and preferences.

- Have a good knowledge of protecting the interest of the client.

4. Design Development:

- Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural designs.

- Oversee the creation of design sketches, drawings, and renderings.

- Ensure that designs are innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

- Ensure that the design is in local authority compliance and other government regulations.

- Ensure that the design is aligned with the visions of the client.

- Ensure that the design should be cost-effective and efficient.

5. Collaboration:

- Work closely with internal teams, including engineers, contractors, and project managers.

- Coordinate with external consultants, such as landscape architects and interior designers.

- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to integrate various design elements seamlessly.

6. Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough reviews of design documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the design process.

- Address any design-related issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.

7. Innovation and Research:

- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architecture and design.

- Incorporate innovative design concepts and sustainable practices into projects.

- Conduct research to support design decisions and proposals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.

- Professional licensure as an architect (preferred).

- 20 + years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on project management and leadership within Dubai markets.

- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to manage complex projects and teams effectively.

- Creative problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
