Closing Date: Aug 19th 2024 MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To support the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions of the organization, and to play a crucial role in providing insightful analysis of financial performance, trends, and forecasts to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Assists in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts based on historical performance, industry trends, and strategic initiatives.
+ Collaborates with department heads and senior management to gather input, validate assumptions, and consolidate financial forecasts.
+ Monitors budget performance and provides detailed explanations for variances to ensure financial goals are met.
+ Prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness, and provides detailed variance analysis of actual results against budgeted and forecasted figures.
+ Identifies key trends and drivers of financial performance and communicate findings to management.
+ Develops and maintains financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
+ Conducts scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate potential outcomes and assess financial risks and opportunities.
+ Provides ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support to senior management and various business units, to ensure strategic decision making.
+ Participates in strategic initiatives, such as capital investments, and cost optimization projects, by providing financial insights and analysis.
+ Collaborates closely with other departments to gather financial data, understand business drivers, and ensure alignment of financial plans with operational goals.
+ Design and create standardized and ad-hoc financial reports, dashboards, and analytics using Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and relevance of financial information.
+ Performs data analysis and validation to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
+ Fosters strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration across projects and initiatives.
+ Performs budgetary checks on purchase requisitions and procurement orders to ensure they adhere to the approved budgets allocated for specific departments or budgets, including use of accurate cost accounting code combinations.
+ Ensures administrative tools used within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) applications such as Task Management systems and Email Ticketing Queue Management systems are working appropriately, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) relating to service delivery are met.

Professional Experience
+ Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Financial Analyst, ideally in FP&A or a related field. Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting is highly desirable.
Systems Knowledge (if applicable)
+ Experience with FP&A systems (e.g., Hyperion, Planning Analytics, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Alteryx) and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is desirable

ISR REQUIREMENTS
