We are allocating an initial $23 billion to advance and accelerate lower-carbon solutions, investing in new energies and decarbonization technologies to enable our net zero by 2045 ambition and our commitment to zero methane emissions by 2030.About the Role: * Develop and propose technology strategies for the company based on the emerging technologies and assures the return of investment for the planned technologies implementation. Ensure technologies are following the quality deployment by following standards and methods. Identify and bring new technologies that supports ASG technology portfolio and the business plan.
  • Formulate Digital Strategy of ADNOC Sour Gas (ASG) and ensure alignment of Digital Transformation and Technology Projects Management efforts in implementing technology department strategy.
  • Support development and implementation of Digital Transformation and Technology Project Management Departmentls policies, procedures, and processes; and monitor compliance of subordinates.
  • Work closely with associated managers across intelligent operations, Al and technology implementation.
  • Handle the technology and digital transformation initiatives to ensure that they are always positioned to execute the company's technology roadmap with the best team on board.
  • Drive ADNOC Sour Gas (ASG) digital and Al business growth in line with targets set for the Technical Applications group in Projects and Technical Services.
  • Conduct sessions on emerging technologies with different verticals and increase awareness regarding new technologies to upscale business operations and create value addition based on the yearly department plan.
  • Drive technology project management execution to ensure quality and timely delivery of new products and services initiatives responding to the directives of the Board, major opportunities, and other policy and operational issues.
  • Regularly monitor the technology ecosystem by staying abreast of technology developments in their ace, including, when appropriate, conducting technical due diligence of potential acquisition targets. Provide monthly reports to ASG Leadership about on-going and planned digital and technology developments and project progress.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective implementation of strategic technology planning, results based management systems and processes.
  • Jointly with collaboration of relevant stakeholders, define the technology roadmap ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement, HR and other supporting functional unit for effective implementation of digital and technology initiatives.
  • Attend conferences and workshops related to emerging technologies.
  • Provide input for preparation of the Department budgets and assist in the
15. implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver team objectives.16. Identify and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.17. Research the market by contacting different Technology provider on the emerging technologies.18. Identify the new technology that will be suitable to the ASG technology portfolio.19. Suggest the technologies to implement based on the value evaluation of the technologies.20. Evaluate and implement the technologies and the status the implementation.21. Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.22. Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.23. Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.24. Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures25. Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section's / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards. Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance frameworkQualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in Science / Engineering Discipline with oil and gas experience.
  • 8 years of experience in any Engineering / Automation / Geoscience / Technology (upstream / downstream)
