We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AML/KYC Compliance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on technical experience in analyzing electronic transactional data and a strong working knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence), and CDD (Customer Due Diligence) analytics software. This role involves implementing and supporting compliance systems, working with various middleware tools, and interfacing with different banking systems. Key Responsibilities: Technical Analysis & Implementation: Analyze electronic transactional data to identify patterns and anomalies relevant to AML/KYC compliance. Implement and support AML, KYC, EDD, and CDD analytics and compliance systems, including WLM (Watchlist Management) and related technologies. Develop and maintain risk rating models, customer segmentation, threshold tuning, and data quality assessments. Regulatory & Sector Knowledge: Utilize a strong understanding of Central Banking regulatory requirements related to AML/CFT (Counter Financing of Terrorism). Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory laws and systems, including QCB (Qatar Central Bank) and GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) regulations. Technical Skills: Demonstrate strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills for database querying and reporting. Manage application server environments such as WebSphere Application Server (WAS), MQ, and JBoss. Work with middleware tools like MQ and TIBCO for application interfacing and integration. Client & Project Management: Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions. Assist in defining project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility, and meeting deadlines. Balance multiple projects, delegate tasks appropriately, and manage client-facing interactions. Documentation & Communication: Prepare comprehensive documentation for compliance systems and project deliverables. Provide clear and concise communication to all levels of management and stakeholders. Qualifications: Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field from an accredited university. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical experience in analyzing electronic transactional data with knowledge of AML, KYC, EDD, and CDD software. Preferred 10 years of experience in the field, including experience with Netreveal systems and other AML technology platforms. Experience in the Banking/Financial sector with a strong understanding of Central Banking regulatory requirements. Technical Skills: Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. Hands-on experience with application servers (WAS, MQ, JBoss) and middleware tools (MQ, TIBCO). Experience in implementing and supporting compliance systems related to AML, KYC, and CDD. Additional Skills: Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Ability to balance multiple projects and manage deadlines effectively. Experience with other banking systems, including Core Banking and Transactional Banking, is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Technical experience with Netreveal or similar AML technology platforms. In-depth knowledge of QCB and GCC regulatory laws. Experience in developing customer risk rating models and conducting data quality assessments.
