The Measurement Solutions Business Group Senior Administrative assistant will have the overall responsibility to provide administrative support to the Business Group Leadership team and manage all day-to-day office related activities. The role will be based in Dubai in the Emerson main administration office.
We are looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative, clerical and business support tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the Measurement Solutions Leadership Team, our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our general administrative activities.
In this role, the candidate will also have the opportunity to be engaged on Health & Safety and Employee Resource Group initiatives in the organization.
Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
In this role, the candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills in scheduling business meetings while managing travel arrangements (flights, hotel accommodation and visas as required).
They will manage office stationery supplies and research new suppliers.
Additionally, the candidate will maintain contact distribution lists, submit and reconcile expense reports while managing AMEX payments and act as the focal point of contact for internal and external clients.
They will liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants as necessary to support requests from senior managers.
The candidate will also play a key role in planning and organizing events (Employee townhall meetings, annual board and planning sessions, various internal trainings and team events).
What do I need to be considered for this role?
Proven experience as an administrative assistant, or office admin assistant
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
