Overview:

Al Rasikhoon Real Estate is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in the UAE, preferably within the construction or engineering consultancy sector, to manage and verify our financial transactions. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Statement Preparation:

• Collaborate on the preparation of accurate and compliant financial statements.
• Assist in the overall financial statement preparation process with a proactive approach.

Transaction Management:

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue.
• Meticulously manage and record fixed assets.

Reconciliation and Analysis:

• Thoroughly analyze and reconcile bank statements while maintaining a detailed general ledger.
• Continuously analyze financial reports and forecasts for a comprehensive understanding of the financial landscape.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Prepare and file local compliance reports as needed.
• Act as a liaison for subcontractors and materials, resolving billing discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Month-End Procedures:

• Execute month-end close procedures to ensure financial accuracy and reliability.
• Contribute valuable insights through the analysis of financial reports and forecasts.

Support Functions:

• Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction or engineering consultancy industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and the MS Office suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of multitasking and prioritizing work effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
