Job Description

: Senior Accountant

Location: Ras al-Khaimah, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• General Ledger:
• Maintain and reconcile accounts.
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Help prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor and report on budget performance.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Manage payment of invoices and collection of receivables.
• Perform credit control.
• Audit and Compliance:
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Taxation:
• Prepare and file tax returns.
• Manage VAT and other tax matters.
• Supervision:
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Provide training and support.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Experience: At least 5 years in accounting.
• Skills:
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
