Job Overview:
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the accounting functions of the department, working closely with the Chief Accountant. The primary responsibilities include supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes, assisting with financial reporting, and managing the accounts payable and receivable functions. The Senior Accountant will also provide mentorship to junior staff, handle financial transactions, and contribute to the preparation of accurate financial records and reports. The ideal candidate should possess a strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to perform complex financial tasks accurately and on time.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA preferred).
• A minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger functions, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (experience with Infor LN is preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial transaction processing.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both junior staff and senior management.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Males & UAE experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED6,000.00 per month
