Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a strong background in real estate accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Track and report on project costs, revenue, and cash flow related to real estate developments. Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and coordinate VAT filings. Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies. Monitor and manage fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. Coordinate with project, sales, and procurement teams for financial alignment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3 years in the real estate or property development sector in the UAE. Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards and UAE VAT regulations. Proficiency in accounting software & MS Excel expertise is a must. Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. UAE Driving License preferred.
