Job Title:

Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Accountant

to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with

UAE VAT laws

, and oversee accounting functions in accordance with

IFRS

standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax regulations in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

Prepare

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

in compliance with

IFRS

. Maintain and reconcile

general ledger

accounts. Assist in the

preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis

. Prepare

cash flow statements

and monitor company liquidity.

Tax & Compliance

Ensure

compliance with UAE VAT laws

, filing

VAT returns

and handling tax reconciliations. Stay updated on

corporate tax laws

and assist in tax planning. Support

internal and external audits

, ensuring timely submission of reports.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Manage

vendor payments

, expense reimbursements, and ensure timely collections. Monitor

bank reconciliations, petty cash

, and oversee accounts settlements. Assist in

payroll processing

, ensuring compliance with UAE

WPS (Wage Protection System)

regulations.

Process Improvement & ERP Systems

Optimize accounting workflows and internal controls. Work with ERP and accounting software (

SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar

). Implement automation for financial reporting and compliance processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree

in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (

CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA preferred

).

Minimum 4 years

of experience in accounting, preferably in the

UAE

. Strong knowledge of

IFRS

and

UAE VAT & Corporate Tax regulations

. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Xero). Advanced

Microsoft Excel

skills (

pivot tables, financial modeling, VLOOKUP

). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills in English Candidates from Kerala only preferred

Preferred Experience:

Industry-specific experience

(e.g., real estate, construction, retail, manufacturing, or finance). Experience in

audit, financial planning, or investment analysis

Pay: Up to AED7,000.00 per month
