Accountant

to manage our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

with expertise in eCommerce financial management, inventory accounting, and Amazon USA operations. The ideal candidate should have experience handling financials for businesses operating in both the

US and UAE markets

and be proficient in financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:Financial Accounting & Reporting:

Maintain and manage

general ledger accounts

, ensuring accurate recording of all transactions. Prepare

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways (Amazon Pay, Stripe, PayPal, etc.), and vendor payments. Monitor

cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting

to optimize financial planning. Ensure timely

accounts payable and receivable

processing, invoicing, and collections.

Inventory & eCommerce Financial Management:

Track and reconcile

inventory costs, COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), and landed costs

. Work closely with supply chain and warehouse teams to manage

inventory accounting

. Maintain accurate records of stock movement across

Amazon FBA, 3PL warehouses, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels

. Reconcile

Amazon disbursements, fees, chargebacks, and refunds

.

Taxation & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with

US and UAE tax regulations

(sales tax, VAT, import duties). File

state-wise sales tax reports for the US

and

VAT filings in UAE

as needed. Assist in preparing financial statements for external audits and regulatory filings.

Financial Process Optimization & Analysis:

Identify opportunities to

streamline financial workflows and automate accounting processes

. Provide

financial insights and profitability analysis

for product lines and marketing spends. Work closely with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Accounting, Finance, or related field

. CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is a plus.

3+ years of experience

in eCommerce accounting, preferably with Amazon USA operations. Strong knowledge of

QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software

. Familiarity with

Amazon Seller Central reports, inventory reconciliation, and eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Walmart, eBay, etc.)

. Experience with

US and UAE tax laws

, including sales tax and VAT compliance. Proficiency in

Excel/Google Sheets, financial modeling ( good to have ) , and data analysis

( must have )

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple financial tasks. Start up experience is a must
