Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Conduct detailed account reconciliations (bank, credit card, intercompany accounts) and resolve discrepancies.
• Supervise the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Manage aging reports and perform credit control to minimize overdue balances.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Prepare and submit VAT/GST returns and other statutory tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the Travel & Tourism industry .
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with foreign exchange transactions and handling multi-currency accounts .
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
