Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (Financial Planning & Analysis) with more than 8 years of experience, including extensive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting records, providing detailed financial insights, and supporting the company's strategic financial planning efforts. This role requires a high level of analytical ability, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and FP&A processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Reporting:

• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and company policies.
• Coordinate and assist with external audits, providing required documentation.

2. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

• Develop and maintain the company's budgeting and forecasting models.
• Analyze historical financial performance and variance analysis to provide insights.
• Prepare management reports that detail company performance, trends, and financial outlook.
• Collaborate with department heads to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

3. Financial Analysis:

• Conduct profitability analyses to support decision-making.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with teams to implement measures.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses to evaluate potential business opportunities.

4. Business Partnering:

• Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
• Support different business units with analysis and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.5. Process Improvement:
• Evaluate existing accounting and financial planning processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
• Support system improvements and automation efforts to enhance efficiency in financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, CA, CMA, or similar certification is highly preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in FP&A.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel

Skills:

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in using financial planning tools/software.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
