This position is for SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (Retail Setting)

CANDIDATES HAVING EXPERIENCE OTHER THAN ABOVE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

• : •

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
• Provide technical support and advice with the Management.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers.
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
• Provide input into department's goal setting process.
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
• Manage with tax audits and tax returns.
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Plan, assign and review staff's work.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Complying with federal, state, and local financial and legal requirements .
• Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status.
• Maintaining customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

•Eligibility and Requirements: •

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree with Accounting and Auditing .
• Experience:

At least 4 years' experience as Accountant in a Retail business from voucher entry to finalization of accounts. Candidates having experience in other business should NOT apply.

At least Four (4) years experience in MS Dynamics NAV or MS Dynamics 365 Business Central .

Experience with general ledger functions

Experience with financial reporting requirements.

• Skills:

Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures, principals and regulations.

Proficient in MS Office suite. Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.

Understanding of Chart of Accounts .
