Job Title: Senior Chartered Accountant (CA)

Salary: AED 10,000 - AED 12,000

Key Responsibilities:

As an experienced Chartered Accountant, your role will include:

Fund Accounting Management: Overseeing the preparation, reconciliation, and reporting of financial statements for various funds, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal regulations.

NAV (Net Asset Value) Calculation: Managing and ensuring the timely and accurate calculation of NAV for funds, working with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines.

IFRS Compliance: Leading the preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Providing detailed financial reports and insightful analysis on financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Audit Coordination: Taking a lead role in coordinating external and internal audits, preparing audit materials, and ensuring the smooth execution of the audit process.

Tax Planning & Compliance: Managing tax planning strategies and compliance to optimize financial efficiency while adhering to UAE tax regulations.

Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and proposing solutions to mitigate those risks. Ensuring internal controls are in place to protect financial integrity.

Team Leadership: Mentoring junior accountants, providing guidance on complex accounting issues, and overseeing the quality of work delivered by the team.

Key Qualifications & Skills Required:

CA Certification: Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAI, ACCA, or equivalent) with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in financial services or investment firms.

Advanced Fund Accounting Knowledge: Proven experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, and NAV calculations for complex financial instruments.

IFRS Expertise: In-depth knowledge and practical experience in applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for financial statements and reports.

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data, generate reports, and provide strategic insights to improve business performance.

Proficiency in Accounting Software: Extensive experience with accounting and ERP software systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar), and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.

Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex accounting and regulatory challenges.

Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in financial documentation, reporting, and analysis, with the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
