Job Title:Senior AccountantLocation: Dubai, AEEmployment Type:PermanentOur ClientA leading multinational company have a new opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team based in Dubai, UAE.Your Responsibilities

Maintaining books of accounts and ensuring that accounting transactions are recorded in line with International Accounting Standards (IAS).
Preparation of month end journals and monitoring month end accruals and closing entries.
Balance sheet reconciliations and postings.
Provide month end and year-end financial analysis and explanations to key information and data resulting from variances to different balances.
Prepare budgeting & forecasting submissions.
Improvement of the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organisations strategy.

Your Qualifications

An Accounting or Finance degree with a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA) preferred, but not essential.
Ideally have 5-7 years\' experience in a multinational business and/or Big 4 consultancy is advantageous.
Strong understanding of financial terminology, banking transactions, VAT, IFRS and accounting principles
Excellent communicator with confidence in interacting with senior internal and external stakeholders
SAP experience is advantageous
Arabic speaker is advantageous, but not essential.
