• Financial Record Management: Accurately prepare, verify, and maintain financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable, manage billing cycles, and handle reconciliations.
• General Ledger Management: Post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and prepare trial balances.
• Financial Reporting: Generate periodic financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Tax and Regulatory Compliance: Prepare tax filings, maintain compliance with local regulations, and assist with audits.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts..
• Incorporation of Companies: Assist in the incorporation process for new entities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and manage setup of initial financial frameworks for new companies.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA qualification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and team members effectively.
• Knowledge of Chinese Financial Regulations: Familiarity with Chinese financial practices and regulatory requirements is advantageous.
