We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Commerce degree with a specialization in Accounting or Finance, along with a proven track record of handling financial records, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and tax returns.
• Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Conduct periodic reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary information to auditors.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Master of Commerce degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven work experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA/ACCA certification (preferred but not required).
