We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our machinery firm. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. You will collaborate closely with various departments to streamline financial processes and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations based on findings.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Tax Compliance: Manage tax reporting and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and facilitate audits by external auditors, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement best practices across the organization.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in the machinery or manufacturing industry.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
