Job Description

:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Manager and play a key role in supporting the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including:
• Month-end and year-end close processes
• Accounts payable/receivable
• General ledger entries
• Fixed asset activity
• Bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and reporting
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Collaborate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules as needed
• Provide financial data and analysis to support strategic decision-making

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
• Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
