- Prepare and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Present financial reports to stakeholders, including executives and board members.Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the organization\'s budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial goals and objectives.
- Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Forecast financial trends and outcomes based on current data and market conditions.Financial Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing.
- Monitor period cashflows and treasury functions of the group entities.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Streamline accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in IT and transformation projects as and when required,Compliance and Audit:
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Submissions of period VAT, WHT returns and compliance with local CT and TP regulations, whilst liaising with tax consultants.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, filing requirements, and other statutory obligations.Requirements: - Bachelor\'s degree in finance/ accounting
- ACA, CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
- 5-6 years of experience in relevant industries
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of IFRS, IAS
