Senior accountant - Contracting/Construction experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting roles, with a strong focus on the construction industry. Experience working in the construction industry is highly preferred due to the unique nature of construction contracts, subcontractors, change orders, and project-based financials.
• Expertise in managing accounts payable processes from invoice receipt to payment, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Knowledge of retention and subcontractor billing practices common in the construction industry.
• Ability to prepare and review monthly AP reconciliation reports, aging reports, and payment schedules.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliation, ensuring that all payables are accurately reflected in the company's financial statements.
• Ability to negotiate favourable payment terms or resolve issues with vendors regarding billing discrepancies or payment schedules.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of invoices, deadlines, and various tasks while ensuring that payments are processed on time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
