Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, creating financial strategy and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Manage cash-flow and follow up on customer payment deadlines
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards Experience:
- Master\'s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience working at an audit firm
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Zoho and Tally
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
